Canadian Moose, Woodland Caribou and Black Bear for more than
thirty years.
Hunting rates include all licenses. The
hunting fee covers the following:
Preparation of antlers and hides is at cost to
the hunter. A taxidermy service is also available.
General camp equipment is as follows:
We have been operating both hunting and
Newfoundland Fishing camps for
many years. Our success rate for
caribou has been 100% and for moose from 85-100%.
Services include the operation of our Cessna 185 float plane
which is used to visit the camps every day that weather
permits. This is in addition to our regular daily
communication by radio telephone. Over the long haul we
have had many satisfied customers and we see nothing in the
future that would prevent us from serving our customers to the
same degree of satisfaction.

Fly Fishing
We operate two fishing lodges on Big River in
Labrador. The first lodge, referred to as the main or
base camp, is situated at the first rapids on the river about
five miles from the North Atlantic Ocean. This rapid area
is the first obstruction encountered by Atlantic Salmon, Sea
Run Trout and Artic Char after navigating the five miles of
relatively slow flowing river from the ocean. While the
Atlantic Salmon and the Sea Run Trout continue up stream for
several miles to the spawning grounds, this first rapids is
the extent of the up-river journey for the Artic Char.
Newfoundland Salmon Fishing
and Newfoundland Trout Fishing
usually begin the journey into the river early July and
continue up stream in great numbers until late August or
early September. The char do not enter the river until mid
August.
The Great White Way camp, five miles up
river from the main camp, is situated at the base of a three
mile long series of falls know as the Great White Way.
These
falls are the second obstruction encountered by salmon and
trout in their up-river journey and offers great fishing and
Trout Fishing in Newfoundland
for both species from the latter half of July to the close
of the season at the end of August or September.
